Ida J. Stockman graduated from the University of Iowa in 1965 and is professor emerita in communication sciences and disorders at Michigan State University.

The Office of the Vice President for Research and the Office of Undergraduate Research recognized nine exceptional undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers at a celebration at the Englert Theatre on Tuesday, March 4.

The Bijou Film Board is a non-profit, student-run organization dedicated to the exhibition of independent, foreign, and classic cinema.

The award, which is in its fourth year, provides funding and development opportunities for tenured mid-career faculty who have established national or international reputations in their disciplines and demonstrate exceptional teaching and mentorship.

Students can turn to their peers for help in various courses and majors across the departments in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
