The CLAS Academic Programs and Student Development office can answer your questions about College policies, help you solve academic problems and understand how to meet graduation requirements.
Self-Reporting
Students testing positive, who have been informed they were in close contact with an individual testing positive, or who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, are instructed to fill out the COVID-19 self-reporting form.
Office Hours
Staff in Academic Programs and Student Development are available to assist you. Our office in 120 Schaeffer Hall is open weekdays from 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Please feel free to call us at 319-335-2633 during office hours, or you may email us at clasps@uiowa.edu for assistance.
Scheduled Appointments
Current University of Iowa students may make an in-person, phone, or virtual appointment online in MyUI under Advising Appointment (choose "College Office" then "College of Liberal Arts and Sciences") anytime, or by calling 319-335-2633 during our office hours, 8:00 am-4:30 pm weekdays. Please be prepared to provide your University ID number, Hawk ID, or other identifying information when you call. We can meet with students in-person in 120 Schaeffer Hall, by phone, or using Zoom, Skype for Business, or Microsoft Teams.
