COVID-19 Temporary Office Hours
Staff in Academic Programs and Student Development are available to assist you. Our office in 120 Schaeffer Hall is closed, but you may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org anytime. We may be reached by phone at 319-335-2633 during our temporary virtual office hours, 8:30 am-12 pm and 1-4:30 pm weekdays.
Current University of Iowa students may make a phone appointment online in MyUI under Advising Appointment (choose "College Office" then "College of Liberal Arts and Sciences") or by calling 319-335-2633 during our virtual office hours. Please be prepared to provide your University ID number, Hawk ID, or other identifying information when you call or email.
COVID-19 Temporary Procedure – Pass/Nonpass grading option (P/N)
Check your Spring 2020 P/N Grading Option Election in MyUI at https://myui.uiowa.edu/my-ui/student/records/registrar/covid-19-pass-fail.page.
If, after checking the status of your Spring 2020 P/N Grading Option Election in MyUI, you want to change to P/N or revert to a letter grade, do so using this online form for CLAS students: https://workflow.uiowa.edu/entry/new/9802. The deadline for students who have submitted a spring 2020 degree application is Tuesday, May 26, 2020. The deadline for all other students is Friday, June 5, 2020. If your primary major is in another College, you must contact that College for the late P/N request procedure.
