Career readiness is a vital part of graduate education.

Graduate students pursuing a doctorate in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences are invited each year to apply for several graduate assistantships.

In the past, these areas have covered writing, editing, community engagement, and marketing and communication for the performing arts.

The positions are part of a five-year pilot project that provides CLAS doctoral students with unique opportunities to gain diverse experience in outreach, engagement, and writing that will help them prepare for a career in or outside of academia.

How to apply

Applications typically open during the spring semester and close in late February or early March.

Current students in years one through four of a PhD in addition to a DMA, or AuD degree program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences are eligible to apply.

Postions are 20 hours per week.
