The Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) is offering a 6-week workshop based on Brené Brown's Connections Curriculum. The goal of this workshop is to assist students in examining the roles of shame, resilience and empathy and the impacts on how they view themselves and their relationships.

Mindfulness 101
In this workshop, students will be able to define mindfulness and mindfulness meditation practice, understand why it’s helpful, and learn new meditations to cope with stress.
Virtual Mindfulness Workshop

Red Watch Band
Get FREE CPR/AED certification, alcohol bystander training. Over 1,800 students each year die on campuses across the country from preventable alcohol-related injuries. Be prepared to save a friend!
The Red Watch Band program is open to all UI students and aims to prevent alcohol poisoning deaths on our campus by providing knowledge, skills, and confidence to act in situations when every second counts.

Light therapy is one way to help treat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a form of depression associated with the lack of natural light during the winter months.
