Phi Beta Kappa Spring 2026 Induction Ceremony
The Alpha of Iowa chapter of Phi Beta Kappa held its Spring 2026 Induction Ceremony on April 12, 2026, at 1:30 pm in the International Ballroom of the IMU.
Family, friends, and mentors were invited to help celebrate the induction of new members elected in fall 2025 and spring 2026 into our distinguished society. This year marks the 250th anniversary of Phi Beta Kappa and we were delighted to induct this historic cohort of students into the society.
Our guest speaker was Alberto Segre, professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science, and Gerard P. Weeg Faculty Scholar in Informatics.
New members received their personalized membership certificates and graduation cords at the ceremony.
