About CLAS Undergraduate Programs

The mission of CLAS Undergraduate Programs (CLAS UP) is to support undergraduate students through graduation and to help faculty and instructors carry out the undergraduate academic mission of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. We are the central hub for collegiate academic advising and student services related to academic policies, as well as the development and oversight of the undergraduate curriculum, including the CLAS Core General Education program and all majors, minors, and certificates. CLAS UP coordinates recruitment activities for prospective first-year and transfer students, and supports the annual distribution and competition for CLAS scholarships. We also collaborate closely with campus partners across the University to support undergraduate students.
