Miguel Espiritu (he/him/his) is an Academic Advisor for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and advises Biology students. He believes that every student is capable of achieving success, whatever they conceive it to be, and loves partnering with students to achieve their academic and professional goals. He approaches the work of advising with a focus on the holistic and leads with warmth, care, and authenticity.

He received his bachelor's degree in Voice from the University of the Philippines Diliman and his master's degrees in Music Performance (Voice) and Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology from James Madison University and Minnesota State University Mankato respectively. Prior to working as an advisor, he worked in various capacities as a mental performance consultant, voice teacher, and opera singer in the US and in the Philippines.

In his free time he enjoys poring over books at secondhand bookstores, exploring restaurants and cafés, reading and writing poetry, playing volleyball, and singing.
