Sid Ramsey
Hi, I’m Sid Ramsey. I began my career in audiology and went on to serve in executive leadership roles in health care. Throughout that journey, my professional life has remained deeply rooted in the principles of a liberal arts and sciences education.
Why CLAS?
My studies in communication disorders, specifically audiology, gave me the foundation to launch my career. But some of the most valuable lessons I took with me came from observing and learning from faculty who were leaders both at the university and within their professional organizations. Their example helped shape my own approach to leadership.
For today’s students, a liberal arts and sciences education develops abilities that will endure throughout their careers: thinking critically, connecting and communicating effectively with people from different backgrounds and perspectives, and maintaining the curiosity and desire to keep learning as the world around them changes.
