Claire is an academic advisor for students studying Psychology and Human Physiology.

Claire received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University and came to Iowa to earn their Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Before advising, Claire worked with a variety of areas in higher education, including first-gen student support, peer mentoring programs, and supporting LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse students. With her advising students, Claire likes to incorporate personal reflection and explore how wellness can fit into academically rigorous undergraduate programs.

In her free time, Claire likes to read, do all genres of crafts, and play roller derby for the local Iowa City team.
