Tom is an academic advisor for the Department of Health, Sports, and Human Physiology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.  

Tom has a PhD in American Studies and has taught courses at Iowa including Food in America, Disney in America, and Understanding American Cultures.  He has worked as an advisor for CLAS and the College of Pharmacy since 2015.
