Over 500 undergraduate students graduated from the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences on Sunday, Dec. 22. It was a joyous celebration for students and their loved ones. 

Check out some of the photos from the CLAS ceremony. Highlights included remarks from graduating senior Lucie Brennan, of Iowa City, who received a bachelor’s degree in communication studies, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in event management. Her remarks focused on the importance of kindness and empathy. 

Fourth-year student Alix Bushard, who will graduate in May, performed the national anthem.
