Janeil Page-Jamison
Janeil Page-Jamison serves as the Academic Success Administrator for the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa. In this role, she advises undergraduate psychology majors from orientation through graduation and supports the department in curriculum management and post-graduation planning initiatives.
Janeil holds a BS in Psychology with a minor in English from Illinois State University, an MA in English Studies with a writing emphasis from Bradley University, and an MFA in Poetry from Bennington College. She brings 20 years of experience in academic advising in higher education, along with an early foundation in social work, having worked as a case manager for four years prior to entering higher education.
Over her 20-year career in higher education, she has held a variety of positions at three different institutions—each offering unique perspectives and challenges.
Janeil is passionate about helping students recognize that their academic and career paths don’t have to be linear. She encourages exploration, reflection, and appreciation for the present moment. To her, the university experience is a unique and exciting chapter in life, and she finds joy in helping students embrace it as the adventure it truly is.
