Marcus Leyton is a senior academic advisor for the Departments of Cinematic Arts and Theatre Arts. Marcus is a part of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Advising Network, which serves nearly all CLAS student majors who are in their second year and above at the University of Iowa. In this role, he helps students not only prepare for their academic careers, but also connect students to the services they need to be successful.

Before joining CLAS Advising, Marcus worked as a journalist and obtained his graduate coursework in Communications from the University of Iowa.
