The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Department of Dance has moved from Halsey Hall into a newly renovated facility in the university’s former art museum building. The new Dance Building brings the department’s programs together under one roof and features five studios, digital arts classrooms, a motion-capture studio, an informal performance space, and dedicated areas for students to gather. Its location near Hancher Auditorium and other arts programs also creates new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthens the growing arts district on the west side of campus.
