The University of Iowa’s Pat Folsom Excellence in Academic Advising Award was created to recognize the support that Academic Advisors provide to students on our campus.
The award is named in honor of Pat Folsom, who spent 30 years in academic advising at the University of Iowa. During her tenure at Iowa, Pat was a fierce advocate for student success, as well as for the role that advisors play in the student experience.
