Title: Representation Rings of Quivers

Abstract: The representation ring of a quiver encodes how representations combine under direct sum and tensor product. I’ll introduce the construction of the representation ring, illustrate it with a few concrete examples, and describe some current directions, including computations for grid-shaped quivers that arise in my own research.
