ACLS Leading Edge Fellowship

ACLS has launched the 2022 competition of the ACLS Leading Edge program.

Leading Edge Fellowships place recent PhDs in two-year fellowship positions at organizations tackling significant social issues: from the care crisis and voting rights access to the racially disparate impacts of youth sentencing and policing on communities of color.

The application requests a résumé, cover letter, professional references, and an application questionnaire. (No reference letters are required at this time.) Fellows receive stipends of $62,500 in the first year, and $65,000 in the second, plus health insurance and professional development funding. Fellowships begin in September 2022. The application deadline is March 28, 2022, 9pm EDT.

Please visit for complete project descriptions, eligibility criteria, and application information. Interested applicants are also invited to attend a webinar on the program and application process on March 3 at 1pm ET.
