As you know, a new General Education CLAS Core requirement in Sustainability was approved by CLAS and then by the Provost at the end of the Spring 2021 semester.

Students entering UI during Summer 2022 and after will be held to the new requirement, with General Education CLAS Core courses in Sustainability first offered during Fall 2022.

Please submit General Education course proposals for Sustainability status by September 3 for a review by the General Education Curriculum Committee in Fall 2021 or by January 16 for Spring 2021.
