You have likely seen recent messages to the university community encouraging participating in the Hawkeyes for Charity 2022 Fall Giving Campaign and I wanted to encourage you to consider supporting these causes.  United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties, Iowa Shares, and CHC: Creating Healthier Communities do amazing work, and your support helps them strengthen our communities and help our neighbors. 

If you have not yet had the opportunity to contribute and wish to do so, the university will continue to facilitate your charitable giving through payroll deduction which is available online at the UI employee self-service site: https://hris.uiowa.edu/portal/.  You’ll have the option to establish a one-time pledge, an ongoing monthly pledge, or a monthly pledge for Calendar Year 2023.  You can review or change ongoing pledges at any time in Employee Self-Service.
