The Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) will be providing a two- day Team Science Training Workshop. The workshop will be on Thursday, October 17 and 24 from 2:00-3:30 in C44-A GH (Elevator BW, Level 4).  Please plan to attend both sessions. The Workshop will be led by Greg Stewart, professor of management and organizations. 

ICTS recognizes team science is an imperative facet of discoveries that evolve from bench discoveries to bedside practice and back. Over 250 individuals have participated in Team Science Training across the University of Iowa since 2015.

Competency areas

In accordance with recommendations by a recent National Academy of Sciences committee (2015, National Research Council), ICTS focuses efforts on building competency in the three basic areas:

  1. Team composition and assembly
  2. Team process facilitation
  3. Leadership
