The Innovations in Teaching with Technology Awards (ITTA) provide funding for innovative, results-oriented instructional technology projects that raise the level of teaching and learning at Iowa and have the potential to directly impact student success and retention.

The Academic Technology Advisory Council (ATAC) sponsors the ITTA program. ATAC seeks projects that call for the use of collaborative learning strategies and student use of emerging technologies for teaching and learning. These projects should be considered "proof-of-concept" projects that are new to Iowa.

A total of $100,000 is available for awards, and applications can be made to support the costs of hardware, software, and personnel.

If you are interested in applying for the ITTA program, please review the proposal guidelines. Applicants are also encouraged to email the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology at teaching@uiowa.edu for a consultation and assistance in determining if their proposal idea is suitable for ITTA funding.

Submit your proposal by Monday, Oct. 17, 2022.
