CLAS faculty, please see the notice below of $5,000 Investment in Strategic Priorities awards. These are due by December 1, but are reviewed as they are received, so be sure to submit your requests ASAP. These must first go through your disciplinary Associate Dean: Roland Racevskis for the Arts and Humanities, or Chris Cheatum for the Natural, Mathematical, and Social Sciences.

The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost is issuing a call for requests related to strategic priorities. UI faculty can request up to $5,000 in one-time funding to help with project support, partial summer salary, bridge funding, etc. The funding is designed to help faculty bring research/scholarly projects to closure. All UI tenure, clinical, research, and instructional track faculty with 50% or greater appointment are eligible to apply. Faculty may only receive one award every other year. Please use this link.

Requests are due by 5 p.m. on December 1, 2023.  Funding is limited. Projects will be reviewed for merit in the order in which they are submitted. The submission must come from the collegiate dean or associate dean. Funds will be released for use in the spring semester and must be expended within one year.
