The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost is issuing a call for requests related to strategic priorities. UI faculty can request up to $5,000 in one-time funding to help with project support, partial summer salary, bridge funding, etc. The funding is designed to help faculty bring research/scholarly projects to closure. All UI tenure, clinical, research, and instructional track faculty with 50% or greater appointment are eligible to apply. Faculty may only receive one award every other year.

Requests are due to provost-office@uiowa.edu by 5:00 pm on April 28, 2023. Funding is limited. Projects will be reviewed for merit in the order in which they are submitted, so note this is first-come, first-served! The submission must come from the collegiate dean or associate dean. Funds will be released for use in the fall semester and must be expended within one year.
