The OVPR is accepting applications for the Spring 2024 AHI program. This program encourages leading edge scholarship, creative activities, and interdisciplinary research. The application deadline is Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Apply here.

Eligibility
At the time of application, all UI personnel in the arts and humanities disciplines who are tenure-track or tenured faculty, clinical track faculty, research track faculty, instructional faculty, and other staff members for whom research and scholarship are assigned as one of their primary job responsibilities and have at least a 50% university appointment during the academic year of the project are eligible to apply for funding.

Application Programs

  1. AHI Standard Grant: Accepts individual or collaborative grant applications up to $7,500.
  2. AHI Major Project Grant: Accepts applications up to $30,000 in support of preliminary work for highly innovative projects that impact the field, discipline, or broader community.
  3. AHI Major Conference Grant: Accepts applications up to $10,000 in support of new conferences, symposia, seminars, colloquia, or workshops.
