Campus Safety is partnering with the Graduate & Professional Student Government (GPSG) on two opportunities for graduate students to enhance their personal safety this month. While the primary audience is graduate and professional students, the GPSG programming is open to all students.

1. Personal Safety Training Classes are being offered as part of wholistic wellness week in partnership with GPSG. The two safety training opportunities will take place on:

  • Monday, March 18, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 19, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

     Students should RSVP to confirm their attendance. More information can be found here.

2. Campus Safety has teamed up with Undergraduate Student Government and Graduate and Professional Student Government to distribute personal safety alarms to students. Those interested in receiving a personal safety alarm should mark their calendars, and plan to attend an upcoming safety tabling event. Please be prepared to present your student ID.

  • Thursday, March 21, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Medical Education Research Facility (1100 East Courtyard) *While supplies last
  • Wednesday, March 27, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., College of Pharmacy (180 Grand Avenue) *While supplies last
