Do you know a Mental Health Champion that deserves to be recognized? The University of Iowa Mental Health Champion Award is a new award designed to cultivate an environment that values and recognizes mental health and the importance it holds in the well-being of each of our lives.

Mental Health Champions:
• Make significant and sustainable contributions to campus mental health
• Attend to their own mental health
• Center diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusivity in all aspects of their contributions
• Improve access to and awareness of mental health resources on campus

Nominate a student, staff, or faculty member or group by Friday, March 24 at https://scsmh.education.uiowa.edu/higher-education/award/. The award can be given to individuals or groups and one can self-nominate or nominate an other. The award comes with a $250.00 prize.

Award is sponsored by: Scanlan Center for School Mental Health; Employee Assistance Program; Graduate & Professional Student Government; Medical College Counseling Center; Undergraduate Student Government; and Women’s Resource & Action Center.
