Please see the following message from Cheryl Reardon, Chief HR Officer and Associate Vice President.

The Board of Regents has approved a request for a 3-year Pilot Phased Retirement Program for eligible University of Iowa faculty and staff, effective June 3, 2022, through June 30, 2025.

The pilot will expand our current 2-year phased retirement program and align it with the Board of Regents’ current model and will help with workforce planning as we continue to navigate labor market challenges.
