I am pleased to announce the result of the faculty voting on the following referendum that was held March 4-11, 2022.

Referendum #1 requested the faculty to approve proposed amendments of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) Instructional Faculty Policy. Ratification of the Referendum required that three-fifths majority of those voting approve to adopt the changes, which was surpassed.  The Office of the Provost has approved the CLAS Instructional Faculty Policy amendments.

The amended Instructional Track Faculty Policy is posted on the CLAS website here, with changes effective July 1, 2022.

Departments are asked to revise their Departmental Manual of Procedures (MOP) to ensure the details of this amended policy are integrated into your document.
