I look forward to the opportunity to meet CLAS faculty and staff in September, at three Dean’s Open Houses in the Iowa Memorial Union. I will give some very brief remarks, but the main purpose of the gatherings is to get together with some CLAS colleagues, have some snacks, and start off our academic year on the right foot. 

The dates and times of the CLAS Dean’s Open Houses are:

• Thursday, September 5, 1:30-2:30 pm, in 337 IMU (Multicultural Greek Council Room)
• Tuesday, September 10, 3:30-4:30 pm, in 337 IMU (Multicultural Greek Council Room)
• Friday, September 13, 8:30-9:30 am, in 335 IMU (Divine Nine Room)

We’ve chosen different days and times in the hope that there will be one that works for anyone who wants to come.
