Please remind faculty members that accommodations for students with religious obligations are a requirement of the CLAS syllabus template.  The policy for religious accommodations is available on the CLAS website at https://clas.uiowa.edu/faculty/student-attendance-and-absences.  The policy is also available in bullet number 8 of the CLAS required syllabus guidelines.  In addition, faculty are encouraged to download the “BMindful Holy Days” calendar from ITS in order to be aware of major religious holidays this semester.
