We have an exciting funding opportunity to share with you and your student organization/program! On November 15, we celebrated National Philanthropy Day by inviting Cindy Heider (UI ‘86), to speak with student leaders. Cindy is a community volunteer, advocate, and philanthropist from Omaha, Nebraska and the Vice President of the Charles and Mary Heider Family Foundation. During her talk Cindy announced that The Charles and Mary Heider Family Foundation would like to award ten $5,000 grants to organizations/programs of the student's interest.

We would like to inform and extend the invite to apply for grant funding to your student organization/program, so we are reaching out to you to coordinate with students connected to this program and asking that they apply for the grant. Your student(s) will need to discuss a specific need or goal that would support your organization and an action plan that supports the need for funds. We would like to have proposals submitted by February 4^th.  There are no limits to applicants/applications. Please feel free to reach out with any questions (Ashely.Gredys@foriowa.org)!
