I am pleased to announce our first Staff Council Elections, and I strongly urge all staff to participate in this process of shared governance.  With the assistance and hard work of the Staff Council Ad Hoc Committee, CLAS staff now have an opportunity for elected representation.  Please encourage staff members in your unit to participate in the nomination process for service on the CLAS Staff Council.  Nominations are conducted electronically on secure websites.

From Wednesday, January 30 through Wednesday, February 6, CLAS staff members can nominate themselves or colleagues for election to the College's Staff Council. Nominations close at 11:59 PM. 

Information on how to cast online ballots will be posted on the College web page and distributed through email after 8:00 AM Wednesday, January 30 as soon as the link is live.

NOTE:  Changes to the Manual of Policy and Procedure (approved December 12, 2018) that affect participation in CLAS staff governance and additional information on the Staff Council and the election process will be posted next week at:
