The Obermann Humanities 3MT is designed to feature the work of UI humanities graduate students. This friendly, fun competition challenges graduate students to articulate their complex research clearly and concisely to non-specialist audiences. In one slide and three minutes, you share the research from your thesis or dissertation or from an outside or course project. Attend a workshop to help you prepare your presentation.

The winner of the Obermann Humanities 3MT receives $250 and directly advances to the final, campus-wide competition on November 11!
