Sarah Olson is currently pursuing her MFA in Choreography at the University of Iowa under an Iowa Arts Fellowship.  Her work has been commissioned by Chicago-based companies including Nomi Dance Company, Project606 Dance, and RASA Dance Chicago as well as presented at Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, Dance Chicago, Chicago Freelance Dance, and Going Dutch Festival.  Most recently, Ms. Olson won 2nd place at the Choreographer’s Showcase at the College of DuPage in July 2017.  In addition to her choreography, Sarah has performed the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Repertory Ballet, Ruth Page Civic Ballet, Chicago Dancing Festival, Nomi Dance Company, LEVELdance, Inaside Chicago Dance, and in the finale of Dance For Life.  She has taught at Lou Conte Dance Studio, Visceral Dance Center, and was on faculty for the Youth department of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and the Joffrey Academy of Dance.  Ms. Olson holds a BFA in dance performance, magna cum laude, from Butler University.
