The Department of Rhetoric has been selected to receive the 2017 Honors Teaching Award. While the award generally goes to a single outstanding instructor, the Rhetoric Department had seven of its faculty nominated by students to receive this award. They included both junior and senior faculty, which indicates that stellar instruction is a commitment that stretches across the entire department.

The seven instructors are: Lauren Cameron, Steve Duck, Deirdre Egan, Iris Frost, David Gooblar, Perry Howell, and Jennifer Loman
