Chris is a second-year student studying Comparative Politics. He earned a BA from Iowa State University in Economics and an MA in Russian Studies from the Russian and Eastern European Institute at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. He is interested in democratization (or lack thereof) in the post-Soviet republics, especially in Ukraine and Belarus. He is also interested in the role the European Union plays in democratization. His favorite food is bigos.
