CLAS Dean Djalali asks tenure-line and clinical-line faculty members to uphold the College's strong tradition of faculty governance by participating in the nomination processes for service on UI and CLAS governance bodies. These nomination processes are the only ways that candidates can be designated. Nominations are conducted electronically on secure websites.

From January 27 through Wednesday, February 3, tenure-line and clinical-line faculty can nominate themselves or colleagues for election to the College's Executive Committee, Undergraduate Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee, Graduate Educational Policy Committee (download pdf from page), and Faculty Assembly, as well as a CLAS seat on the Graduate Council

Nominations may be submitted through Wednesday, February 3, at https://login.uiowa.edu/uip/login.page?service=https://apps.its.uiowa.edu/lavote/.

The election itself will occur from Wednesday, February 24, through Wednesday, March 2.
