University of Iowa Professor Matthew Arndt has published a new book, The Musical Thought and Spiritual Lives of Heinrich Schenker and Arnold Schoenberg (Routledge).

Arndt is an associate professor of music theory in the School of Music, part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
