  • CLAS Staff Council bids a bittersweet farewell to their founding President, Patricia Kimbrough

CLAS Staff Council announces that past President Patricia Kimbrough is stepping down from her council duties and her position in the Dean’s Office for a new professional career as toddler wrangler to her son, Jack. Pattie and her husband Hank moved to Iowa City in May 2017 and Pattie has been working in the Dean’s Office since June 2017. Pattie was the founding President of the CLAS Staff Council and was instrumental in guiding the council and establishing the council bylaws in our first year. Throughout her term on the council she has been a valuable member and always brought more to our meetings, endeavoring to broaden and move forward our Staff Council activities serving CLAS staff. While her fellow council members are sad to see her go, we are happy for her to have the opportunity to chase a nimble 15-month-old around and we will do our best to keep ourselves organized without her. Good luck, Pattie!
