The 2022 Robert and Clarissa Rees Memorial Lecture

The Department of Sociology and Criminology presents the 2022 Robert and Clarissa Rees Memorial Lecture:

Nobody Needs to Know That: The Limits of the Social Functions of Gossip and the Implications for Adolescent Wellbeing by Dr. Celeste Campos-Castillo.

Dr. Campos-Castillo is currently an Associate Professor in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, specializing in communication and information technologies, medical sociology, social psychology, experimental methods, and work and occupations. They received their PhD at The University of Iowa in 2012. 

This lecture was made possible through the generous support from alumna Marion Rees and will take place via Zoom on Friday April 22nd from 12:00-1:30pm.
