Support Community and Peer Mentors
Your support team
When you major in political science or international relations you are supported by a community of faculty members, academic advisors, administrative staff, and alumni, all of whom are committed to your success. They are a team working together to give you the tailored personal guidance you expect only from small schools and help you take full advantage of the tremendous learning opportunities that are only possible at large research universities. Your team will make sure you are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to enter a career that makes a difference and will help you launch that career.
Political Science Peer Mentor Program
First-year political science and international relations majors have the opportunity to talk with second, third, and fourth-year majors about where to find help with their classes, how to find research, internships, and other opportunities. Student mentors hold regular office hours within Schaeffer Hall.
