NSF Updates

The new NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG NSF 23-1) is available online and went into effect for proposals submitted on January 30, 2023.  There are a few noteworthy changes to be aware of:

  1. FastLane is in the final stages of being decommissioned. All NSF proposal submissions must be submitted through Research.gov.
  2. There are new required templates for Senior Personnel Documents (Biosketch and Current & Pending Support).
Approved Formats for Current & Pending Support
     Approved Formats for Biographical Sketches
→  Beginning October 22, 2023, all Biographical Sketches and Current and Pending Support documents must be prepared using SciENcv. We strongly encourage anyone not using SciENcv, to start before the new requirement in the Fall.  It is user-friendly and a time-saver for creating these necessary documents in the correct format.
→  Senior personnel may assign a delegate (GSO staff) access in SciENcv for assistance, however the PI certification requires that senior personnel MUST certify and generate the final PDF file for upload and submission.
