Assistant Professor of Computer Science Zubair Shafiq and PhD student Sheroze Farooqi have discovered a flaw in Facebook's code that has been exploited to generate millions of fake "likes."

Their recently published research, conducted in collaboration with the Threat Infrastructure team at Facebook, will be presented at the ACM Internet Measurement Conference in November 2017.
