Unidos Living Learning Community

Unidos Living Learning Community
The Unidos LLC ("united" in Spanish) is designed to support new and returning residence hall students who identify as Latinx. This LLC was proposed by students with the goal of supporting, empowering, and advocating for Latinx students on campus. The Unidos LLC will also have ties to the Latino/a Studies department in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, where LLC students will be required to take a First Year Seminar especially designed for the community. This LLC would not be possible without the strong support of  students and campus partners who have been working for the last year to make this community a reality. Many thanks to the Unidos planning team for their advocacy and vision:

Alexia Sanchez Garcia - student/proposal writer

Thomas Arce - Coordinator, Multicultural & International Student Support & Enrichment

Sarah Lambert - Academic Coach, Center for Diversity & Enrichment

Alejandro Rico - Hall Coordinator, University Housing & Dining
