Karmen Berger advises International Studies students who have earned 24 semester hours (s.h.) or more. 

All first-semester students and students with 0 - 23 s.h. are advised in the Academic Advising Center

Declared IS majors can use the online scheduler (located in MyUI/ Student Info/ Advising Appointment) to make an IS academic advising appointment, or to find out when Karmen's Walk-in Advising times are (no appointment necessary):

All other students are invited to call or stop by the International Studies Program (319-384-1328, 305N Communications Center) for assistance with appointments or other questions.

Business hours for the International Studies Program are 8:30 a.m. - noon and 1:00 - 4:30p.m., Monday - Friday.
