What has the “American Dream” meant to workers in the United States? How have those “dreams” been shaped by class, race, gender, and nationality? How do the ideas of the past shape our expectations and opportunities today? Find out in this one-hour, off-cycle course! Course consists of a day-long, on-campus conference and film screen-ings sponsored by the UI Labor Center.
