History Fellowships and TA Applications
The links to the major Aid Application and Information about Fellowships for 2021-22 are below. The guidelines below include complete instructions for applying for the Graduate College Fellowships, GPSG and GSS funds, as well as the Department of History's own research and writing fellowships. The online form will be your Application for regular graduate instructor aid/jobs for the 2021-22 academic year. Please read all instructions carefully.
Collegiate and Departmental Fellowships, 2021-22
Step 1: Review the Guidelines for Fellowships
Step 2: Complete the Cover Sheet
Step 3: Submit all materials for these fellowships via email to Kathleen O'Neill (in either word or pdf format) on or before the January 31, 2021 deadline
*Read the instructions carefully--the graduate college fellowships have requirements on font, size and length of CVs and personal statements
**Don't wait until the last minute, ask your advisor (and a second faculty member when necessary) for letters of recommendation early
Aid Application for Regular Teaching Jobs, 2021-22
The Departmental Aid Application form is to be filled in and submitted online. Please fill out the form on or before the due date: Sunday, January 31, 2021.
In addition to this form you should ensure your advisor sends the DGS a short e-mail regarding your degree progress.
