The Office of Field Experience is actively engaged in recruiting experiential learning partners. As positions become known, links to information about available opportunities will be posted here. They could be volunteer positions, part-time, seasonal or full-time positions. Please read closely and apply to positions based on your mix of needs regarding credit, experience and compensation. It is important to remember that semester hour credit is not automatically granted for experiential learning. You must register for SRM:4197:0006, :0012 or :0EXW (Sport and Recreation Field Experience) and fulfill the requirements for the course and credits. RipRoar Events is the largest endurance event production company in Iowa with events like the Women's Half Marathon, 5K + Team Relay, a youth triathlon series, DAM to DSM and many more. Their Event Production Internship is open for applications for spring semester running 2/25 - 5/6, 2019. Deadline to apply is December 2nd. Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) is accepting applications for the USGA P.J. Boatwright, Jr. Intern Program through Friday, January 18, 2019. This is an entry-level, paid internship program with potential for both 3-month summer internships and long-range internships lasting either 9 or 12 months.
