I am originally from Woodbury, MN, but came to Iowa City for undergrad and haven’t left since! I received a BS in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa and decided to stay for a Master’s degree in the department.
I am currently a TA for Physical Activity and Health and Fundamentals of Human Physiology. In the past, I have also been a TA for Human Anatomy Lab. It is so fun to be able to be an instructor for classes that I loved as an undergraduate student!
Aside from my roles as a student and TA, I also love teaching group fitness. I teach various class styles from yoga to high intensity strength/cardio classes on campus and within the Iowa City and Coralville communities.
One of my favorite parts of the HHP graduate program is the people I have met. Not only have I made great friends within the program, I have also been able to network with professors and other HHP graduates that have lead to great opportunities!
