I am originally from the Chicagoland area. I received my BA in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2019. Currently, I am a second-year Master's student here at the University of Iowa in the Health and Human Physiology department.
This semester I am a TA for both Physical Activity and Health with Dr. Hosteng and Anatomy Lab with Dr. Taeger. It has been so much fun to share my passions through teaching and meet so many amazing undergraduate students here at UI!
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors whether it is going for a long bike ride or hiking with my boyfriend and pup at Hickory Hill Park. Running has also been a lifelong passion of mine and I especially enjoy exploring the countless trails in the area. When not exploring the world outside I enjoy curling up and working on my embroidery skills, writing, or baking something sweet.
What I like most about the HHP graduate program is the collaborative and supportive atmosphere. I deeply appreciate the opportunity here at HHP to be able to pursue my passions through the classes I have taken, taught, and the research I have been involved in. I also have been lucky enough to meet and build relationships with so many wonderful people along the way!
